As you settle into the process, it is possible for the initial discomfort to transform into a feeling of safety and acceptance as you begin to share your experiences. Remember, every journey starts with that first step, and it is entirely normal to feel unsettled at the beginning.
We are here to make the process as comfortable as possible. The first session can be considered a “get to know you” session. We will get to know you by asking a variety of questions. This will help us understand your needs, concerns, and preferences. Together, we will work to develop goals that are meaningful to you, ensuring that your therapy experience is tailored to your unique journey.

For the first few months, we recommend weekly therapy sessions. Together, we will continue to evaluate progress every few weeks. This allows for consistent support and adjustment of strategies as needed, ensuring you get the most out of your therapy experience. Regular check-ins will help us monitor your journey effectively.

Blutherapy offers a virtual practice, ensuring that therapy is both convenient and easily accessible. We use a HIPPA compliant Telehealth platform providing a secure environment for sessions. It is compatible with most computers and cell phones, allowing clients to engage in therapy from the comfort of their own space.

Blutherapy does not accept insurance. We can provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. By eliminating involvement with insurance providers, we are able to focus on delivering quality care to a select number of clients. This approach allows us to prioritize individual needs and maintain a therapeutic environment tailored to personal growth and healing.

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place to honor both your time and that of our clinicians. Please note that any no-shows or appointments canceled less than 2 hours before the scheduled time will result in the full session fee being charged. Individual providers have the discretion to waive this fee for extenuating circumstances.
